The second stop of the triple header MARS weekend takes the tour to America's Dirt Track Fairbury American Legion Speedway (FALS) and once again the track crew produced another great feature for the drivers and fans.
32 MARS Late Models would make the trip to the racer friendly town of Fairbury, Il last night with local driver McKay Wenger topping the field in qualifying with a time of 12.862. He would go on and win his heat race along with Unzicker, Shirley, and Gardner.
B main wins were taken by Little and Gardner's teammate Tommy Sheppard Jr with series provisionals going to Kevin Weaver and Taylor Scheffler.
Wenger brought the field to green but did not lead a lap as Unzicker would lead the first 7 laps before Brian Shirley would take the lead from the number 24. Meanwhile Babb was making moves from his 5th starting spot.

Babb would overtake Shirley on lap 19 and went on to pick up the win over a hard charging Brandon Sheppard. Sheppard , who started 6th , just came up a little short but Babb definitely knew BShepp was there to win by .227 of a second. Brian Shirley rounded out the podium in the Bob Cullen XR1 Rocket Chassis.
MARS will travel to Sumner , IL home to the 3/8th mile track of Red Hill Raceway. If you aren't able to be there in person the race will be live on FloRacing and keep up with the series at www.marsracingseries.com
