The MARS point leader would pass race leader Ryan Unzicker on lap 13 to collect his sixth win of the year and extending his series point lead over Unzicker. Tenth starting Shannon Babb would charge to finish second earning the hard charger of the race. Unzicker, who started outside front row, would round out the MARS podium.
27 Late Models signed in for the season finale for the track with "Moose" Myles Moos stopping the clock the quickest to earn the top qualifier honors. Three heat races were won by Feger, Nickerson, and Mataragas. The B Main would go to Jeffrey Ledford with provisionals going to Voight and Heckenast Jr.
The MARS series will take the short trip from Farmer City to Fairbury for another $5,000 to win feature
