It's hard to believe it was 2010 since Jason Feger stood in victory lane at FALS but last night was Feger's third win on the MARS season out of four trips to the famous bullring. It was far from an easy win for Feger as he came from the 11th starting spot and beating the reigning WoO champion Dennis Erb and Ryan Unzicker.
The night kicked off with the 30 entrants timing in with Dennis Erb Jr. winning time trials and his heat race. Locals McKay Wenger and Logan Moody claimed the other two heat races with the last chance race going to Logan Martin.
Dennis Erb would jump out to the early race lead and would hold it until lap 21 when the "El Paso Express" Ryan Unzicker passed Erb and the lead duo would swap it a few times until lap 34. Jason Feger would pass Unzicker on the top side and lead the last six laps to secure the win.
Erb would settle for second place and Ryan Unzicker finished third. It was later discovered that Unzicker had a right rear tire going down possibly causing his chances at the $5,000 payday.
Mike Harrison would finish fourth with Blaze Burwell taking fifth in the final rundown. Jordan Wever would gain ten spots from his starting position to finish tenth to earn the hard charger of the event.
The series will be in action next weekend at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City ,IL with Mod Mania at the speedway
