Gustin Reaps Big Payday at 300 Raceway

Ryan Gustin has never won in his homestate of Iowa until now and it was a big one as he takes the XR Super Series $50,047 payday. Bobby Pierce took second after leading the first 17 laps and Ethan Dotson finished third.

Bobby Pierce topped the 25 car field in qualifying then took the heat race win. The other two heat race winners were Gustin and Dotson.

The next series race will be at Muskingum County in Ohio on September 14th paying $15,000
