Nick Hoffman took full advantage of an off weekend for the World of Outlaws to sweep the Ohio weekend after winning at Moler the night before. Hoffman took the lead from his good friend , Adam Stricker , with just a couple of laps to go after Stricker suffered a flat RR. RJ Conley would take the runner up honors and Henry Hornsby rounded out the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series podium.
Hoffman used Friday night to get ready for the Prairie Dirt Classic next weekend and the World of Outlaws visits Atomic in September.
Hoffman began the night by winning qualifying over the 29 entries. Tyler Carpenter was forced to scratch after hot laps ending his night prematurely. Heat wins went to Hoffman , Stricker , and Caiden Black. Rob Anderzack took the B Main win to earn his starting spot into the 40 lap $5,000 to win main event.
Hoffman would lead the first 14 laps until Adam Stricker got around the NOS Energy 9 Longhorn of Hoffman. Stricker , his third start after switching to a Longhorn Chassis, would lead until disaster struck with a flat RR with just a few laps to go.
The next series race will be August 10th at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville,OH. Point leader Rusty Schlenk had a rough night pulling in just 13 laps into the feature. He was credited with a 21st place finish.
