Mike Marlar completes the sweep at Volunteer Speedway as he would lead flag to flag for the $12,000 payday. Marlar led 86 consecutive laps out of 100 laps over the two day program racking up $42,000 in winnings.
32 Late Models would sign in for the Sunday race that was originally scheduled for Friday. Marlar would set fast time and then win his heat. Dale McDowell, Devin Moran , and Jimmy Owens were the other heat race winners. B Main wins went to Scott Bloomquist and Tyler Erb.
The next XR Series race will be on May 16th at Ogilvile Raceway in Minnesota for $12,000 to the winner
