Dresden Ohio's Devin Moran took advantage of a lap 17 pileup involving race leader Bobby Pierce to claim the win. Ricky Thornton Jr and pole sitter Kyle Bronson rounded out the DirtCar podium.
46 cars would take time with Bobby Pierce taking the top time honors. Heat race winners were Bronson , Pierce, Madden , and O'Neal. Drake Troutman and Brian Shirley took the B Main wins.
Pierce would get the jump on polesitter Bronson to lead the field. Pierce would lead until lap 17 and that's when chaos hit not just the leader but others as well. Bobby's fuel line broke off causing a fire. As he came to a stop the field stacked up behind him. Mike Marlar , Nick Hoffman , Hudson O’Neal were some of the others involved knocking them out of the race. It was reported that O'Neal went to hospital to get checked with a hand injury. No further update has been given and hopefully the reigning Lucas Oil Champion won't miss any races.
When the racing resumed Moran led the final 8 circuits to collect the win in the Clements Racing Engine Longhorn Chassis owned by Roger Sellers.
