O'Neal Defends Home Turf

There's nothing like coming home. For Hudson O'Neal and the O'Neal family Brownstown Speedway is home. Hudson grew up at Brownstown Speedway while father , Don , won races as well as championships at the legendary 1/4 mile fairgrounds track.

Hudson started the night off setting overall fast time over the 37 car field. He would go on to win his heat race as did Jason Jameson, Tanner English, and Jonathan Davenport. B Main winners were Devin Moran and Spencer Hughes.

O'Neal led the first lap but lost the lead to fourth starting Jonathan Davenport. Although Davenport has a couple of wins at Brownstown Speedway he admits it's not his best track. "Superman" looked strong early but last year's Lucas Oil Series champion came storming back to take the lead back on lap 20.

O'Neal would hold off challenges from runner up Tanner English the rest of the way to pick up his first FloRacing Night In America win in 2024. Tim McCreadie would round out the podium with his third place finish.

The series is off until November 15th when they travel down south to Senoia Raceway.
