Brandon Overton slid by leader Garrett Smith with 16 laps to go to secure the $12,000 Southern All Star Winter Freeze at Screven Motor Speedway Saturday might.
31 cars would take time with Friday nights winner Garrett Smith taking top time and winning his heat along with Haiden Cowan, Brent Dixon,and Pearson Lee Williams. Carson Ferguson took the B Main win.
26 cars took the green that took 25 minutes to run 50 laps. Brandon Overton came from his 5th starting spot and took advantage of race long leader Smith slipping out of the rubber in turn 4.
The Wells Motorsports Longhorn powered by Clements went on to win by .751 for his 7th career series win and his first since March 2021. Smith and Haiden Cowan rounded out the podium.
The next race will be March 2 at North Alabama Speedway paying $5,000 to the winner
