Bobby Pierce ended his slump with a victory at Path Valley Speedway in PA last night charging around Mason Zeigler on lap 26. Zeigler finished two and half seconds behind the winner and Brandon Sheppard finsihed third to gain points on leader Nick Hoffman who finished 7th from the pole.
Cody Overton broke the track record to top the 41 entries in qualifying. Heat race winners were Tyler Emory , Zeigler , Overton , and Nick Hoffman. Daniel Hilsabeck and Dustin Sorensen took the B Main wins.
Chris Madden's hot streak came to an end on the opening lap with engine issues. Nick Hoffman led the opening two laps before contact with Zeigler damaged the point leader's LF suspension. Zeigler took control until Pierce caught him 14 laps from the finish.
Ryan Gustin and Dennis Erb Jr completed the top five. It was the first ever visit to the PA Bullring. Pierce would say in victory lane he thought they overwatered the track before the feature but it proved that it helped the track to have 2 racing lines in the feature. It was the 2nd series win of the 24 season for last year's point champion.
