Josh Rice completed the double down with the Ultimate Heart of America Series winning at Red Hill Raceway in Sumner , IL to go with his C.J. Rayburn Memorial win at Circle City on Friday night. Rice went around leader Christian Hanger on lap 6 to lead the final 44 laps by over 2 seconds over 8th starting Michael Kloos. "Wild Thang" Greg Johnson would round out the podium with his 3rd place finish. The win gives Rice his 12th overall win for the year and it was his 4th career series win.
23 Late Models made the trip to the 3/8th mile with Winchester ,Tennessee's Christian Hanger stopping the clock at 15.146 to take top time honors. He would also win his heat race as well as Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Member Billy Moyer and Josh Rice.
Point leader Tristan Chamberlain entered the event 3 points ahead of Dustin Linville and scratched from qualifying and his heat race to start the 50 lap $10,000 to win event from the tail. He would pass half the field to finish 11th with Linville finishing 9th.
The series heads to Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown,TN for its next race on September 16th for another $10,000 to win main event
