Ricky Thornton Jr Wins Gator 50 After Wilson's Misfortune

Daulton Wilson was 7 laps away from a $10,000 unsanctioned payday when the race leader lost a motor. After inheriting the lead Ricky Thornton Jr led the final 7 laps to win the Boone Coleman Memorial Gator 50 giving RTJ momentum for tonight's Lucas Oil event being held at Portsmouth Raceway Park.

Portsmouth Raceway Park point leader R.J. Conley would finish runner up to the Lucas Oil season point leader with three time Coleman Memorial winner Brandon Fouts rounding out the podium
