Shirley Dominant in Texas WoO Win

Brian Shirley picked up his fifth series win last night at Rocket Raceway Park in Texas. Shirley led all 50 laps from his pole starting spot to beat runner up,Cade Dillard, by 5.604 seconds. World of Outlaws rookie contender, Tristan Chamberlain, rounded out the podium for his best finish with the series.

32 cars signed for the first appearance by the series at the track. Tyler Bruening would set fast time with heat race wins going to Gustin,Shirley,Dillard,and Dennis Erb Jr. B Main wins went to Chamberlain and Morgan Bagley.

Point leader Brandon Sheppard brought out the first caution on Lap 3. The crew removed the damaged right front fender and he saved some points with a 10th place finish. Bobby Pierce finished 7th to gain six points in the season standings.

The next race is championship weekend at Charlotte. BShepp leads Pierce by 44 points. Can B5 complete the drive for 5 as it will be his last race in the Longhorn Factory Team car.
