With the World of Outlaws canceling their races due to Hurricane Francine Brian Shirley won the MARS sanctioned Brownstown 100. Shirley edged Shannon Babb at the checkers after passing Babb for the win on lap 13. Tanner English rounded out the podium.
Shannon Babb broke the track record in qualifying at The Bullring located in Brownstown, IL. Heat races were won by Babb , Shirley , and English. Bob Gardner took the B Main win.
Tonight's MARS race is canceled due to rain as the next series race will be championship weekend October 4th and 5th at Fairbury American Legion Speedway. Friday will pay $5,000 to the winner and Saturday night's winner will have a $12,000 payday
