Tim McCreadie and Ricky Thornton Jr. take Night 1 wins at The Dirt Late Model Dream. In the first A Main event of the night T-Mac used a late race restart on lap 19 to pass race long leader Hudson O'Neal then used the clean air to cruise to the victory lane stage in the Paylor Motorsports Longhorn Chassis. O'Neal would take the runner up spot with Strickler,Clanton,and Winger rounding out the top 5.
A total of 95 Super Late Models would sign in for the 29th Dream weekend at Eldora Speedway. The first 2 nights the field is split into 2 groups and each night they qualify and race only in the group to collect points for starting spots in Saturday's $129,000 Dirt Late Model Dream.
In group A qualifying Tim McCreadie took the fast time honors with Mike Benedum,Winger,Clanton,and O'Neal collecting heat race wins. They invert the top 4 in each heat. Cory Hedgecock and Spencer Hughes took the B Main wins.

In Group B qualifying the top qualifier was World Of Outlaws Rookie Nick Hoffman. Heat race winners were Davenport,Moran,Thornton,and Stormy Scott. Last Chance winners were Hoffman and Brandon Overton. Hoffman suffered a right rear tire shredding on the front stretch while in a transfer spot in his heat race and Overton,the 3 time defending Dream winner, struggled most of the night before winning the B Main and advancing from 22nd to finish 9th.
