The Lucas Oil winless streak for Tim McCreadie ended last night at All-Tech Raceway by sweeping the night away. The Watertown New York resident set fast time , won his heat , then led all 50 laps for his first Lucas Oil win since Oct of 2022.
The track had totally different personality than it did for Friday's event as it had alot of moisture in it. In heat race victory lane interviews all the winners were out of breath as it was hammered down fast. TMac praised his engine builder Jack Cornett for giving him the needed horsepower.
Other heat race winners were Wilson , Winger , and Jonathan Davenport. Last year's champion Hudson O'Neal broke in his heat race forcing the Rocket1 Race Team to pull out the backup car. B Main wins went to Clay Harris and Tony Jackson Jr.
Daulton Wilson and McCreadie shared the front row for the 50 lap main event with TMac blasting from the outside to a lead that he never lost. Wilson was right on him for the majority of the race but "Topside Timmy" maneuvered lapped traffic better than Wilson to win by 2.456.
Ryan Gustin would come from his 15th starting spot to round out the podium in the Todd Cooney owned Longhorn by Wells Chassis.
Tyler Bruening had another great finish taking the 4th spot with 17th starting Clay Harris rounding out the top 5. Harris continues to be impressive in this year's Winter Nationals making every main event with no provisionals to fall back on. He sits 9th in the early season standings.
Point leader Ricky Thornton Jr had a rare DNF as he broke while charging from 10th to 3rd. He was officially credited with a 19th place finish.
The series will now move on to East Bay for 6 nights of racing beginning on Monday. This will be the finals Winter Nationals visit to the popular "Clay by the Bay" speedway.
