Mckay Wenger led every lap at Spoon River last night to claim his first career series win. It was also his 100th career win at the same track were he collected his first career win. Ryan Unzicker took second with MARS point leader Jason Feger finishing third.
Jason Feger topped the 30 car field in qualifying and won his heat race. The other heat race wins went to Ethan Dotson and Dennis Erb Jr.
After the redraw Mckay Wenger and Ethan Dotson brought the field to green with Wenger getting the advantage. Wenger would say in victory lane he knew the track was going to rubber up and be good enough to lead til it took rubber. He accomplished that goal as he held off the challenges by Unzicker.
The series next race will be at Brownstown Bullring in Brownstown, IL paying $10,000 to the winner. All MARS races can be seen live on FloRacing
