This has been in the works for well over a year and we fill it's time to take the step forward and give it a shot. We will need everyone's support on this new adventure that we feel will be a challenge but with both of us together we think it will be a success.
So who is behind this you might wonder. Well it is 2 well known photographers that is finally joining forces and becoming 1 DYNAMIC DUO. Michael Boggs & Ryan Roberts is the 2 who will be joining together to make this happen.
Michael Boggs is a well known photographer throughout the region. He started his career in November of 2018. Wanting to see if he could become a sports photographer which is something he has always wanted to do and had a passion for.
He was born and raised in Olive Hill, KY but now resides in Sandy Hook, KY and happily married with 2 boys. He always loved attending dirt track races at PRP, Willard Speedway and various other tracks in the area when he was a kid. Now since he has become a photographer, he is now chasing that dream.
He has served proudly in the past by contributing photos to various media outlets such as Sports View America, DirtOnDirt, World Racing Group, DIRTcar Racing and the World Of Outlaws. As well being published in various magazines such as Dirt Empire and Speedway Illustrated.
He has had the pleasure to shoot for the XR Racing Series in 2021 at Texas and the most recent was in Las Vegas.
In 2020 he got to experience some NASCAR at Martinsville in the truck series and cup series. He also had the opportunity to take photos at the Indianapolis Colts VS Miami Dolphins NFL football game.He can be seen around various tracks across united states and high school sporting events.
We asked him why the change now ?
I feel like this is a great move for both of us he said. We both work for various media outlets in the past some have already closed there doors and no longer in the business. I feel like with both of us working together we can make this a success for both of us. It's something we both hold a passion to. As times is getting tougher by doing things by yourself. That if we both come together who knows where we will be this time next season.
With having almost 15,000 followers on my Facebook page not counting Instagram and twitter. And Ryan having over 5,000 on his platforms we think this could be a major change for both of us. We hope that someday we can continue to grow this platform but only the sky is the limit. We appreciate everyone for supporting us.
We asked Ryan the same question.
I am a lifetime dirt racing fan from Charlestown,IN located in Southern Indiana 15 minutes north of Louisville,KY. I have been happily married to my wife Angie since 2011 together we have 5 kids and 2 grandchildren.
Back in 2015 for Father’s Day she bought me my first DSLR camera from Best Buy. At that time I was taking my little pocket Kodak camera taking pictures from my grandstand seat to keep memories of my racing trips with my son along with my mother that still travels with me to majority of the races I cover.
I didn’t know much about photography just enjoyed taking pictures of my racing trips. Fast forward to late 2018 and Tyson Graves started Racing Performance Media and invited me to join them as a contributor.
I decided to give it a try then in 2019 I met Michael Boggs at Richmond Raceway in Kentucky. We instantly struck a friendship as he was just getting started in photography same as me.
Over the past few years I've been very fortunate to contributed my work to DirtonDirt as well as the World Racing Group and I have had photos published in Dirt Empire Magazine.
Recently I was informed that Racing Perfromance Media was folding up after tremednous success but life was getting busy for the owners.I was discussing it with Michael and he said it’s time we put our resources and talents together to form a media partnership. After bouncing around names we combined to name it Loud Pedal Report to bring you not just photos but news, results, schedules, etc.
Hope everyone enjoys the ride and pull them belts tight as we smash The Loud Pedal
