Ashton Winger needed seven laps to go from his sixth starting spot to take the lead from pole sitter David Breazeale to win the Schaeffer's Spring Nationals at Buckshot Speedway. Breazeale held off Spencer Hughes to round out the podium.

31 cars took time with Spencer Hughes taking the overall top time. David Breazeale was the quickest from Group A as the top 5 from each group were locked into the 40 lap main event. The rest would have to transfer out from the B Main taking the top 5 from each B Main.

Kyle Bronson would take the first B Main win to transfer as well as Brenden Smith , Jackson Hise , JR Moseley , and Jordon Horton. B Main 2 would have Colton Leyendecker take the win. Bill Mahan , Cruz Skinner , Dillon Tidmore , and Austin Franklin would transfer to the Main Event.

Donald McIntosh broke and jumped into Jordon Horton's car for the feature as he came into the night 2nd in the points behind Brandon Overton who is not chasing points. He started 19th and came home in 9th place.

The series goes to East Alabama tonight for $10,053 to the winner. Catch the action on FloRacing if you are unable to make it to Phenix City
